It was just on the news a few weeks ago that an ambulance was on call and hit an old
homeless man while he was stepping off the curb. He had major head injuries and was rushed to the hospital. A few hours later he passed away. The first thing that came to my mind was "poor guy, he
had nothing and on top of that lost his life too"  But then I started to think, even if he was rich and had everything in the world, but didn't have God, he'd still be homeless. It just struck me that we
always worry about having the in style clothes, the best job, even our plans for the weekend. Sometimes we just forget to stop and think about where Jesus is in this whole picture.

Then I had a bible study and we were talking about what treasures on earth we can take to heaven. Such as...that friend that just came to know the Lord and lives that we have touched while
being here on earth. Just like that old man, we don't know when God is calling us home. Many of you probably know the song "Live like you were dying" That has become a new motto of mine...we don't
have to wait to go to South Africa (or wherever your mission is) to make impacts on people's lives...we can start today!!!
